<\/b>Vietnamese does not have a new alphabet<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A hundred years ago, the Vietnamese language was written by the literate few in the form of a pictorial system. Although complicated, this pictorial system, the <\/span>Chu Nom, <\/span><\/i>is similar to the Chinese of today. In the present times, it has been replaced by a version of the Latin alphabet called <\/span>Quoc Ngu. <\/span><\/i>This is the reason why there is no need to learn a new alphabet in the Vietnamese language, unlike Mandarin, French, English, and Spanish. All you need to do is to learn some accent marks which denote tone, and you will be writing the Vietnamese language in no time.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the Vietnamese language is easy to read. It is written in the Latin alphabet and is modified by accent marks (or diacritics).
