If you ask almost anyone in long-term recovery how they made it through the hardest moments, chances are they won\u2019t just talk about treatment programs or meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They\u2019ll talk about people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The people who encouraged them when they wanted to give up. The people who believed in them before they believed in themselves. The people who reminded them that recovery was possible \u2014 even on the difficult days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That message was recently shared by Learn to Live Recovery founder Matt Bauersachs in a post reflecting on the journey that built both his recovery and the Learn to Live community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf you know anything about me or LTL you will know that we didn\u2019t get here by accident. I have a network of amazing people around me that support me and recovery gave me that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
