You do not need any additional software such as CDto set up the router.
2. While going through the setup process,you have an option to directly access the router’s web-based setup page.
NOTE: The CD included in the packaging does not contain any setup software.It only contains your router’s documentation.Therefore, going through it is merely a waste of time.

One or two internet / ethernet (RJ-45) cables
A Wi-Fi computer or a computer with an ethernet port
Active internet connection – To check if you are able to access the internet, connect the modem to the computer using an ethernet cable as shown in the image below:

Yes. What you can do is to connect the cable (also called a patch or a fiber optic cable) provided by your internet service provider (ISP) directly to the computer’s ethernet port. If your internet access is working, you can begin by following the steps below.
