Noida, 26th September 2025: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, added a rich cultural dimension to the 11th Global Literary Festival Noida 2025 by presenting the authentic cuisines of Palestine at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

The special showcase was inaugurated by H.E. Abdullah M.A. Abushawesh, Ambassador of Palestine to India, who praised the initiative. “Food is a mirror of our heritage, history, and values. Presenting Palestinian cuisine here is not only about taste but also about sharing our identity and strengthening the bonds of friendship between Palestine and India,” he said.

Welcoming the guests, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Asian Academy of Arts and Chair of the Indo Palestine Film and Cultural Forum, underlined the role of gastronomy in cultural diplomacy. “Cuisine is an art form that unites hearts across borders. By celebrating Palestinian food at this festival, we are building bridges of love, peace, and cultural understanding, while giving our students and audiences a chance to experience global traditions,” he remarked.

The presentation of Palestinian delicacies added warmth and depth to the festival, reinforcing its mission of celebrating literature, art, and culture as a means to promote global unity.
